Using the reconstitution calculator to measure
The Measure tab calculates a syringe draw from your vial and dose. You can describe the vial by its powder amount and added water or by its concentration per mL. This guide shows both ways with the same example vial.
Open the Measure tab
Open the Measure tab. The Vial card lets you choose how to enter your vial details.
Keep Total amount selected when you know the powder amount and the water you added. You can enter the values without choosing a compound from your stack.
Enter the powder and water
For this example, enter 10 mg in Powder in vial and 2.5 mL in BAC water added.
The calculator shows a concentration of 4 mg/mL.
Switch to Strength when needed
If you know the concentration, tap Total amount in the Vial card. Choose Strength from the sheet.
When the powder amount and water volume are already entered, the calculator converts them for you.
Enter the strength
The same example vial reads 4 mg/mL in Strength. You can also enter the concentration directly.
The water amount is optional in this mode. Enter it to see how much the vial holds and how many full doses it can provide.
Enter your dose
In the separate Dose card, enter your amount in Total dose. This example uses 1 mg.
The calculation keeps that dose fixed when you change the vial amounts. The draw updates to match.
Read the draw
The draw guide shows 25 units, or 0.25 mL, for this example. Tap Syringe to choose the size you use.
Doses per vial shows ten full doses at this draw.
